Holy crap! Now that is one crazy horror story! I grew up idolizing your parents. "No Secrets" - I fell in love with you mom. The songwriting, she's beautiful, I'm 16. "Boys in the Trees" another album I cherish to this day. I was so fortunate to catch your dad at Carmichael Auditorium in Chapel Hill. He was so gracious (as always), he sang "Carolina On My Mind" twice! Everyone went berserk! I got to shake his hand in Charleston WV when he stumped for a Presidential candidate (Anderson?). Couldn't believe how tall he is. I'm 6'2. What is he, like 6'4? Anyway, he played solo that evening and stayed and spoke with every single person who wanted an autograph. A person simply does not forget that kind of sacrifice. I look forward to listening to your music.
